Punjabi Fried Fish Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Any Fish
  • 1 no Onion
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 big Ginger
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tbsp Cashew nut paste
  • 2 nos Tomato
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • Methi leaves Few, Uluva ela
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing punjabi fried fish masala, crush onion, garlic, ginger and coriander leaves.
  • Marinate fish with the crushed paste, chilly powder, turmeric, curd and salt.
  • Fry the fish in hot pan.
  • Keep aside.
  • In the same oil, add cumin, methi leaves and tomato. Fry well till tomato lightens.
  • Add cashew paste.
  • Add water and mix.
  • Add the gravy and pour it over the fish.
