Ladies Finger Kerala Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Ladies finger sliced
  • 1 cup Coconut grated
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 nos Dry chillies
  • 1/2 tsp Urad dal Uzhunnu parippu
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing ladies finger kerala curry, first fry ladies finger in little oil and keep aside.
  • Grind coconut and green chillies.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal and dry chillies. Add curry leaves and fry.
  • Add the ground coconut and fry again.
  • Add ladies finger and add little water.
  • Simmer flame, add turmeric, coriander and chilly powder. Cook masala well.
  • Mix little water to curd and blend well.
  • Add to the curry. Do not boil the curd. Remove from flame before boiling starts.
  • Ladies finger kerala curry, a tasty as well as nutritious recipe is ready. Serve with rice.
