For preparing Fish Biriyani, first marinate the fish pieces with the ingredients of marinade and keep for 1 hour.
Fry fish fillets in oil for 5 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
Make a paste of 3 green chillies, little mint and little coriander leaves.
In a kadai, heat oil. Fry the sliced onion(for garnishing) with pinch of salt till dark brown color and set aside.
In the same oil, fry chopped onion, green chilly paste, ginger-garlic paste and coriander paste.
Add coriander powder and garam masala. Fry well till oil clears.
Add salt and curd. Mix well.
Add the fried fish pieces and little water. Cover and cook the fish.
Meanwhile, boil water. Add whole garam masala and salt. Add rice and cook it.
Strain when done, and keep aside.
Fry cashew nuts and raisins.
In a rice cooker, spread ghee in vessel. Add cooked rice as bottom layer and cooked fish masala as another layer on top. Again add rice and then spread fried onion.
Repeat process with rice on top with mint and coriander leaves.
Warm it for 6 minutes.
Serve hot with cashew and raisins.
Fish Biriyani is ready.
