Cocoa Cake With Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients
  

For preparing cake:

  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder little more if needed
  • 2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 2 cups All purpose flour Maida
  • 2 nos Egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup Hot water more if needed

Other:

  • Nutella hazelnut spread

Instructions
 

  • For preparing cocoa cake, first sieve flour, baking powder & baking soda. Keep this aside.
  • Whisk eggs. Add butter & sugar. Mix thoroughly.
  • Mix cocoa powder & milk.
  • Add flour mix and milk solution alternatively and mix thoroughly.
  • Add vanilla essence, salt & vegetable oil.
  • Divide the mix in 2 pans(9 inch) and bake for 350 degrees for 30-35 min.
  • Method for frosting: 1)Mix butter & shortening thoroughly.
  • Add the remaining ingredients & beat thoroughly.
  • Apply on cake using a cake spatula.
  • Decorate with Nutella hazelnut spread.
