For preparing cake:
- Cocoa Powder(little more if needed) - 1/2 cup
- Granulated sugar - 2 cups
- All purpose flour(Maida) - 2 cups
- Egg - 2 nos
- Baking powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda - 1 1/2 tsp
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp
- Milk - 1 cup
- Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
- Hot water(more if needed) - 3/4 cup

Instructions
- For preparing cocoa cake, first sieve flour, baking powder & baking soda. Keep this aside.
- Whisk eggs. Add butter & sugar. Mix thoroughly.
- Mix cocoa powder & milk.
- Add flour mix and milk solution alternatively and mix thoroughly.
- Divide the mix in 2 pans(9 inch) and bake for 350 degrees for 30-35 min.
- Method for frosting: 1)Mix butter & shortening thoroughly.
- Add the remaining ingredients & beat thoroughly.
- Apply on cake using a cake spatula.
- Decorate with Nutella hazelnut spread.
