Capsicum Curry With Potato

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 Capsicum sliced
  • 1 no Potato chopped
  • 1 no Onion paste
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 2 nos Tomato paste
  • 3 nos Green chillies chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 3 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1 no Bay leaves Karuga ela
  • 2 nos Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Cashew paste
  • Salt As reqd
  • Coriander leaves Few

Instructions
 

  • For preparing capsicum curry with potato, heat little oil in a pan and fry capsicum in it. Drain and keep aside.
  • In a pressure cooker, add oil, fry cumin seeds, cloves, bay leaves, onion and green chillies.
  • Add onion paste, ginger-garlic paste and tomato paste. Add potato and fry well.
  • Add coriander, cumin, chilly powder and turmeric. Add little salt, water and cover and cook for 2 whistles.
  • When done, add cashew paste and boil. Add capsicum and coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chappathi.
