Instructions
For preparing brown bread ice cream, heat water & sugar in a heavy bottomed pan until the sugar has dissolved completely.
Raise the heat & boil the syrup to a rich brown caramel.
Immediately transfer the mixture onto a greased tray. It will harden quickly.
Grind it finely & keep aside.
Fold in the icing sugar with the cream and add to the hardened syrup along with a little vanilla extract.
Then stir in the bread crumbs & freeze without stirring.
