Ingredients
  

  • 85 g Whole meal bread crumbs toasted
  • 85 g Sugar
  • 50 g Icing sugar
  • 4 tbsp Water
  • 420 g Thick cream whipped
  • Vanilla extract Little

Instructions
 

  • For preparing brown bread ice cream, heat water & sugar in a heavy bottomed pan until the sugar has dissolved completely.
  • Raise the heat & boil the syrup to a rich brown caramel.
  • Immediately transfer the mixture onto a greased tray. It will harden quickly.
  • Grind it finely & keep aside.
  • Fold in the icing sugar with the cream and add to the hardened syrup along with a little vanilla extract.
  • Then stir in the bread crumbs & freeze without stirring.
