Pineapple Pastry

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All purpose flour sieved, Maida
  • 2 cups Sugar powdered
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tsp Pineapple essence
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 100 g Pineapple canned
  • 4 nos Eggs beaten
  • Cream whipped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • For preparing pineapple pastry, fold in the powdered sugar with eggs. Beat it well till the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Then add in maida, baking powder, essence and salt gradually, beating vigorously. Keep it aside.
  • Drain the syrup from the canned pineapples and keep it aside.
  • Grease a baking tray and arrange a butter paper in it.
  • Put the butter on top and when it melts, arrange the pineapple slices, pour the cake batter over it and bake till well cooked.
  • Remove and cool thoroughly before cutting into pastries.
  • Pineapple pastry is ready. Serve with whipped cream.
