Thenga Charu Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Coconut
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 6 nos Shallots chopped, Kunjulli
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 1 no Tomato chopped
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing thenga charu curry, fry coconut, chilly powder, turmeric, cumin seeds and coriander powder.
  • Grind it to paste.
  • Heat oil. Fry onion and tomato.
  • Add the ground paste. Add water and cook.
  • Fry shallots in oil and pour it on gravy.
  • Thenga charu curry is ready.
