Queen Of Puddings
Another variation of the trifle pudding

- 2 slices Bread
- 100 ml Milk
- 20 g Sugar powder
- 1 no Egg
- 2ml Vanilla essence
- 5 g Butter
- 30 g Jam
Soak the bread(remove crust) in milk for an hour.
Separate yolk and white.
Beat yolk with half the sugar and butter. Add to the soaked bread.
Put in a pie dish and bake at 180 degrees Celsius till it is set.
Whip egg white till stiff with the remaining sugar.
Spread jam on top of the baked pudding and pile meringue on top.
Bake or rather grill at 170C till the top is golden brown.
