Special Chicken Varattiyathu
Chicken is marinated, fried and mixed in a masala

- 1 kg Chicken chopped
- 1 tbsp Chilly powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Soya sauce
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 2 cups Onions finely chopped
- 5 nos Green chillies slit
- 2 tsp Garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/4 cup Capsicum sliced
- 1 cup Beetroot grated
- 1/4 cup Tomato sauce
- 6 springs Coriander leaves finely chopped
- Oil As reqd
- Salt As reqd
For preparing special chicken varattiyathu, marinate the chicken pieces in soya sauce, chilly powder, vinegar and salt. Keep it aside for 1 hour.
Fry the marinated chicken pieces in oil.
In another vessel heat oil. SautT garlic paste, onions and green chillies.
Add in beetroot, capsicum and pepper powder. Fry well.
Then add in tomato sauce and required salt.
Toss in the fried chicken and mix it well in the masala.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Remove it from the flame.
Special chicken varattiyathu is ready. Serve hot.
