Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Drumstick leaves Muringa Ela
  • 1 cup Coconut grated
  • 3 nos Dry red chillies
  • 10 nos Shallots chopped, Kunjulli
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 5 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp Rice not cooked
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing muringa ela thoran, heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard, rice and red chillies.
  • Add shallots, garlic and fry.
  • Add turmeric and muringa ela. Fry for 5 minutes. Sprinkle little salt water and cook.
  • When done, add the grated coconut and mix well.
  • Muringa ela thoran is ready.
