Coconut Dates Fritters
Dates are kneaded with coconut, dipped in batter and deep fried

- 1/4 kg Dates de-seeded and mashed
- 1/2 cup Coconut grated
- 1 no Egg
- 1/2 cup All purpose flour Maida
- 1 tbsp Rice flour
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
- Oil As reqd
- Salt As reqd
For preparing coconut dates fritters, knead dates and coconut well. Make small balls and press it lightly. Keep it aside.
In a bowl mix in salt and egg.
In another bowl, mix in maida, rice flour, sugar and water.
Add in the egg mixture to the above batter and mix well.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
Dip the dates in the batter and fry it in oil.
Coconut dates fritters is ready. Serve as a snack for tea.
