For preparing beef varutharacha curry, first heat pan, add oil.
Fry cubed onion, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger and garlic.
When it turns brown color, remove from flame and allow to cool. Then grind it.
Dry roast coriander seeds till light brown on simmer flame.
Add chilli flakes and fry again. Powder the seeds when cooled.
Heat pressure cooker. Fry the sliced onion and tomato. Add the ground onion paste and saute well. Add the turmeric, ground powder, pepper and salt.
Add the beef cubes and mix well.
Add 1/2 to 1 cup water and pressure cook the beef.
When done, remove the lid and thicken the gravy. In another pan, pour 1 tbsp oil and fry the curry leaves and green chillies.
