Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Spinach stem sliced
  • 6 nos Shallots chopped, Kunjulli
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Coconut grated
  • Curry leaves Few
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Coconut oil As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing cheerathandu thoran, first cook the spinach stems with chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Roughly grind coconut, green chillies and garlic.
  • Heat pan, splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves.
  • Add the shallots and fry.
  • Add the crushed coconut and mix well.
  • Add little salt and the cooked spinach stem.
  • Mix well in simmer flame.
  • Cheerathandu thoran is ready.
