Vendakka Thoran, a Kerala side dish for rice

- 1/2 kg Ladies finger chopped
- 4 nos Green chillies slit
- 1 no Onion chopped
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Curry leaves Few
- 1 cup Coconut grated
- 2 cloves Garlic chopped
- Salt As reqd
For preparing vendakka thoran, first heat oil in pan.
Splutter mustard seeds and fry curry leaves.
Fry onion, green chillies, turmeric and garlic.
Add ladies finger and sprinkle salt.
Fry for 5 minutes.
Cover with lid and fry.
When done, add the grated coconut and fry.
