Steam Cooked Fish

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Fish
  • Salt As reqd
  • 3 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  • Banana leaves As reqd

For paste:

  • 3/4 cup Coconut grated
  • 1/2 cup Coriander leaves
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 3 1/2 tsp Coriander
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing steam cooked fish, first clean and slit fish. Marinate it in vinegar and salt.
  • Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Lightly burn the banana leaves in gas stove.
  • Grind the ingredients for paste and cover each fish in the paste and fold the banana leaves.
  • Steam cook the fish for 30 minutes.
  • Steam cooked fish is ready. Serve hot.
