Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Prawns cleaned & de-veined
  • 1 no Onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk second milk
  • 4 nos Green chillies
  • 2 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 2 tsp Garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Garam masala
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • Oil As reqd
  • Curry leaves Few

Instructions
 

  • For preparing chemmeen in coconut milk, first mix prawns, half of onion, 2 green chillies, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Cook the prawns with coconut milk.
  • When cooked, keep aside the prawns.
  • Heat a kadai and pour oil.
  • Fry the rest of the onion, green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Add cooked prawns, chilly powder and garam masala into it.
  • Make it a semi thick gravy.
  • Chemmeen in coconut milk is ready. Serve hot.
