Ingredients
  

  • 50 g Chennellary
  • 5 g Aashaali
  • 5 g Fenugreek seeds Uluva
  • 5 g Cardamom Elakka
  • 5 g Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 5 g Ajwain Ayamodakam
  • 5 g Viyaalari kkaambu
  • Indhuppu As reqd
  • Coconut milk As reqd
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing special karkadaka kanji, grind aashaali, fenugreek seeds, cardamom, cumin seeds, ayamodakam and viyaalari kkaambu to a fine powder.
  • Cook chennellary in water.
  • Add a little of the above powder when the rice is cooked. Allow it to cook well.
  • Special Karkadaka kanji is ready. Serve with indhuppu and coconut milk.
