- 50 g Chennellary
- 5 g Aashaali
- 5 g Fenugreek seeds Uluva
- 5 g Cardamom Elakka
- 5 g Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 5 g Ajwain Ayamodakam
- 5 g Viyaalari kkaambu
- Indhuppu As reqd
- Coconut milk As reqd
- Water As reqd
For preparing special karkadaka kanji, grind aashaali, fenugreek seeds, cardamom, cumin seeds, ayamodakam and viyaalari kkaambu to a fine powder.
Cook chennellary in water.
Add a little of the above powder when the rice is cooked. Allow it to cook well.
Special Karkadaka kanji is ready. Serve with indhuppu and coconut milk.
