Spinach Dal Curry
Spinach, dal and other ingredients are added

- 1/2 kg Spinach chopped
- 50 g Lentils cooked with salt, Tuvara parippu
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 1 cup Coconut grated
- 1/4 tsp Split black gram Uzhunnu parippu
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 nos Dry chillies
- Salt As reqd
For preparing spinach dal curry, cook spinach in salt, turmeric powder and little water.
Mix the cooked dal into the spinach.
Grind chilly powder and coconut. Mix it into the above curry.
Saute split black gram, mustard and dry chillies in oil. Pour it into the boiling curry. Remove from the flame.
Garnish with spinach.
Spinach dal curry is ready. Serve hot.
