Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Chicken cleaned and cut into medium pieces
  • 8 nos Onion sliced
  • 1 no Tomato sliced
  • 25 g Ginger paste
  • 50 g Garlic paste
  • 3 nos Green chillies paste
  • 2 tsp Vinegar
  • 4 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Pepper powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Tomato sauce
  • 2 stems Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Clean the chicken and cut into medium pieces and marinate with a mixture of vinegar, chilly powder, pepper powder and salt.
  • Heat 3 tsp of oil in a pan and fry 5 thinly sliced onions till it becomes golden brown.
  • Add ginger, garlic and green chilly paste.
  • Keep in low flame and stir it for 2 min.
  • Add sliced tomato and stir it for 3 min.
  • Keep it in high flame and add marinated chicken pieces into it.
  • Add soya sauce and tomato sauce and mix it well.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Close the pan and cook in low flame for 20 min. Stir intermittently till oil comes out.
  • Deep fry 3 thinly sliced onion in a separate pan.
  • Add deep fried onion and curry leaves into the cooked chicken.
  • Stir it continuously for 5 min.
  • Pepper Chicken Roast is ready to serve.
