North Indian Tamarind Sauce
This sauce can be used with north indian snacks, panipoori etc.

- 1 cup Dates de-seeded and chopped
- 1 cup Tamarind juice
- 1/2 cup Jaggery Sharkkara
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- Salt A pinch
For preparing tamarind sauce, first mix jaggery with tamarind juice.
Bring it to boil.
Add cumin powder, salt and chilly powder.
Add the chopped dates and boil.
When the gravy starts to thicken, remove from flame.
Grind it in processor when cooled.
North indian tamarind sauce is ready.
