Ingredients
  

  • 8 nos Idly cut into cubes
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 tsp Chana dal Kadala parippu
  • 2 tsp Urad dal Uzhunu parippu
  • 2 nos Onion chopped
  • 4 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Gingelly oil

Instructions
 

  • For preparing idly upma, Fry mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal in coconut oil.
  • Add onion, green chillies and fry again.
  • Add gingelly oil and turmeric powder and then add idly (making it to small pieces).
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Add curry leaves.
  • Idly upma is ready.
