Mutta Puli

A typical kerala dish with egg, but tastes like a fish curry

Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Egg
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 1 no Tomato chopped
  • 3 nos Green chillies slit
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Coconut oil As reqd
  • 2 tsp Ginger crushed
  • 1 tsp Garlic crushed
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 lemon Tamarind soaked in water
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds

Instructions
 

  • For preparing mutta puli, heat oil in pan, splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add onion, ginger and garlic. Saute well.
  • Add tomato, green chillies, turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder.
  • When oil appears on top, add salt and curry leaves.
  • Add the tamarind juice and allow it to boil. Add little water to make more gravy.
  • Switch off the flame. Now pour egg 1 by 1 and lightly stir with a ladle.
  • Mutta puli is ready. Serve it hot.
