Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Ripe tomatoes
  • 1 no Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 no Bouquet garni thyme,parsley,bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp Concentrated tomato puree
  • Salt As reqd
  • Pepper As reqd
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 no Carrot grated
  • 1 no Celery stick finely chopped
  • 200 g Beef minced

Instructions
 

  • For preparing bolognese sauce, peel and chop the onion and garlic cloves. Keep it aside.
  • Put the tomatoes in boiling water and de-seed. Chop it well in the food processor.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan, fry the onion, carrot, celery stick, minced beef and garlic in it.
  • Add the tomatoes, concentrated tomato puree, bouquet garni, salt, pepper and sugar.
  • Stir and simmer in low flame uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the bouquet garni and season to taste before serving.
  • Serve it with any spicy snacks/Sphagetti.
