Royalla Pachadi

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Prawns
  • 2 cups Oil
  • 1 cup Red chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Tamarind paste
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Poppy seeds paste Kashakasha
  • 2 tsp Mustard powder
  • 3 nos Cloves
  • 3 nos Cinnamon sticks Karugapatta
  • 3 nos Cardamom pods Elakka

Instructions
 

  • For preparing royalla pachadi, fry prawns in oil till they turn brown in colour and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Cook fried prawns, red chilly powder, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, poppy seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and salt for 15 min. Remove it from the flame.
  • Add tamarind paste, garam masala and mustard powder. Mix well.
  • Take it from flame and serve.
