Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Daal
  • 150 g Spinach chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic chopped
  • 3 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 2 nos Onion chopped
  • 4 nos Vayana / vazhana leaves Belongs to the family of bay leaves
  • 4 nos Cloves Grambu
  • Salt As reqd
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp Chilly powder
  • ¼ tsp Coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • For preparing healthy daal, wash the daal and soak it in water for 2hrs.
  • Fry the ingredients ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion, vayana leaves, cloves, salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, and coriander powder.
  • Add spinach to it and cook it in low flame.
  • Add the soaked daal to it and cook in low flame for 10 mins . 5)Mix the cooked ingredients well and remove it from flame.
  • Add garam masala and lemon juice before serving.
