Kankecha Sheera

Wheat flour and other ingredients are added to make this festive sheere

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Wheat flour Aata
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder Elakka podi
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Almond powder
  • Cashew nuts As required
  • Rasins As reqd, Unakka munthiri
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing kanakecha sheera, roast wheat flour in ghee till it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Add sugar and water(as required) and mix well.
  • Then add cardamom powder and almond powder. Mix well.
  • Cover and cook it for some time.
  • Grease a bowl with ghee and spread cashew nuts in it. Transfer the sheera to the bowl and unmould it to a serving plate.
  • Kankecha sheera is ready.
