Elephant Yam Pickle

A variety pickle with elephant yam

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Elephant yam cubed
  • 10 g Gingely oil
  • 2 branch Curry leaves
  • 1 cup Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek powder Uluva
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Vinegar As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing elephant yam pickle, roast elephant yam in some oil and keep it aside.
  • Roast curry leaves in the same oil and keep it aside.
  • Roast the remaining ingredients well.
  • Add the roasted elephant yam and curry leaves to it and stir again. Remove it from flame.
  • Add vinegar and convert it to a bottle.
  • Serve when required.
