Rava Kichadi

A tasty dish - Rava Kichadi

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rava/semolina
  • 1 no Onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup Carrots thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Beans thinly sliced
  • 1 no Tomato chopped
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Coriander leaves Few

Instructions
 

  • For preparing rava kichadi, first heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add garam masala, onion, vegetables and green chillies.
  • Saute for a while and add turmeric powder.
  • Now add rava and fry for few minutes.
  • Boil water in a vessel with required salt.
  • Pour the water to the rava mixture and mix well.
  • Do not make it too sticky. Add little oil and fry it again.
  • Finally add coriander leaves.
  • Rava kichadi is ready.
