Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Oats
  • 25 g Peanuts
  • 10 g Cashew nuts
  • 5 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 20 nos Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Instructions
 

  • For preparing oats mixture, heat oil in a pan.
  • Roast the peanuts and cashew nuts until golden brown separately.
  • Drain them out of the frying pan and keep aside.
  • Next, splutter mustard seeds in the same oil.
  • Put in oats. Roast until a nice aroma comes and it becomes light brown in colour.
  • Then put in the chilly powder and asafoetida powder. Stir continuously.
  • Put in the sugar and salt.
  • Last put in the curry leaves and stir for 5 minutes. Put the gas off.
  • Let it cool and store in a airtight container.
  • Oats mixture is ready.
