Coconut Chips Chutney
Roasted coconut pieces are ground with other ingredients to make a yummy side dish

- 1 cup Coconut slices
- 4 nos Shallots Kunjulli
- 2 tsp Ginger chopped
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 5 nos Green chillies slit
- Curry leaves A few
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Salt As reqd
For preparing coconut chips chutney, scoop the coconut out of the shell and slice into very thin slices.
Heat oil in a pan. Put in the coconut chips. Stir and fry till golden brown. Stir on medium heat. Keep it aside to cool.
Grind coarsely coconut chips, small onions, ginger, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, green chillies, curry leaves and salt.
Coconut chips chutney is ready. Serve with rice as a side dish.
