Delicate And Instant Achar Out Of Neem Flowers

Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Mangoes small
  • Neem flowers A handful
  • 4 tsp Jaggery scrapped, Sharkara
  • 2 tsp Tamarind juice
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Asafoetida powder A pinch, Kayam
  • 5-6 leaves Curry leaves
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • For preparing delicate and instant achar out of neem flowers, wash and cut mangoes into small pieces.
  • Take a small pan and fry the neem flowers in 1/2 tsp oil. Keep it aside.
  • Take another pan heat the remaining oil and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add the neem flowers and asafoetida to this and stir.
  • Add mangoes at this point. Stir for a few minutes.
  • Add little water and cover it. Allow it to cook till the mangoes become soft.
  • Once cooked, add jaggery, chilly powder, tamarind juice and salt.
  • Lastly, add curry leaves and mix everything well.
  • Delicate and instant achar out of neem flowers is ready.
