Irumbam Puli Chemmeen Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 150 g Bilimbi fruit Irumpampuli
  • 1 cup Dried Prawns
  • 3 nos Green Chillies chopped
  • 4 nos Shallots sliced
  • 1/2 cup Coconut grated
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Mustard seeds Few
  • 2 nos Dry red chillies
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Roast dried prawns and cook it with water, enough salt, green chillies and turmeric powder.
  • When it cooked, add bilimbi fruit and cook in low flame until done.
  • Grind coconut with chilly powder and coriander powder. Add this to the cooked bilimbi fruit.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds, add dry red chilly, shallots, saute well. Pour this to the curry.
  • Serve hot.
