Delicious Doughnuts

Maida, butter and other ingredients are mixed to make a dough. Then the dough is rolled, cut and then fried in oil

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g All purpose flour Maida
  • 250 g Yoghurt
  • 170 g Sugar
  • 2 nos Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla essence
  • 45 g Butter melted
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • All purpose flour for dusting, Maida
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Oil As reqd
  • Sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • For preparing delicious doughnuts, take a bowl and add eggs and sugar. Beat them well with an egg beater till they become fluffy.
  • Mix yogurt, vanilla essence, salt and melted butter into the egg mixture.
  • Take a bowl and add baking soda, baking powder and maida. Mix it well. 4)Add this dry mixture to the egg mixture and combine them to make a dough.
  • Sprinkle flour on the work surface and roll the dough with a chappathi rolling pin to half a centimeter thickness.
  • Take 2 different round cups.
  • Take the big cup and cut the doughnuts.
  • Then take the small cup and cut it in the centre of the doughnut.
  • Keep the doughnuts aside.
  • Mix the leftover dough and repeat the process again till all the entire dough is over.
  • Take a deep frying pan and heat oil over a medium heat.
  • Fry the doughnuts on both the sides till it becomes golden brown in color.
  • Place the doughnuts in a bowl lined with tissue paper at the bottom to absorb the oil.
  • Take a plate and place the doughnuts on it. Place your doughnuts in a plate and dust them with powdered sugar.
  • Delicious doughnuts are ready. Serve with chocolate syrup or any jam.
