Prawn Vada

Prawns are ground with other ingredients to make this yummy snack

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Prawns
  • 1/4 cup Coconut grated
  • 1/4 cup Shallots Kunjulli
  • 1 inch Ginger crushed
  • 4 nos Green chillies
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 1/2 tsp Dal
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • Coriander leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • For preparing prawn vada, clean the prawns and remove the head.
  • Mix prawns, small onions, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, daal, grated coconut and salt.
  • Grind it well.
  • Take a spoon full of the prawn mixture and fry it in oil.
  • Fry on both sides till it becomes light brown in color.
  • Prawn vada is ready. Serve hot.
  • Specialties: Festival recipe. You can also serve it as an evening snack.
