Cashew Katly

Cashew nut powder and other ingredients are added to make this sweet dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Cashew nut powdered
  • 400 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powdered, Elakka
  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing cashew katly, boil sugar with some water to make a thick syrup, stirring continuously.
  • Add powdered cashew nut and cardamom to it. Stir well and let it cool.
  • After 10 minutes, apply ghee on a flat plate and spread the mixture on the plate in 1 to 2 inch thickness. Allow it to cool for 1 hour.
  • Cashew katly is ready. Cut and serve.
