Instructions
For preparing mathanga sambar, first cook daal in 3 cups of water.
Add onion, chopped pumpkin, green chillies, curry leaves, tamarind water, sambar powder and salt.
Cook for some time until the pumpkin becomes soft. Remove from flame.
Fry mustard seeds and red chilly in oil and pour it into mathanga sambar.
Enjoy the Mathanga Sambar with rice.
