Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Fenugreek leaves finely chopped, Uluva ela
  • 1/4 cup Soya chunks soaked, drained
  • 5 nos Shallots chopped, kunjulli
  • 2 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilly powder
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • Cumin seeds A pinch
  • Mustard seeds A pinch
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • Urad dal A pinch, Uzhunnu parippu
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing fenugreek with soya, heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
  • Add green chillies, shallots and chopped fenugreek leaves. Stir on low heat and add soya chunks. Mix well and cook covered.
  • Sprinkle red chilly powder, turmeric powder and required salt.
  • Remove from fire and add lemon juice.
  • Fenugreek with soya, a tasty and healthy side dish for steamed rice, is ready.
