Fenugreek With Soya
Chopped fenugreek leaves cooked with soya granules and other ingredients

- 1 cup Fenugreek leaves finely chopped, Uluva ela
- 1/4 cup Soya chunks soaked, drained
- 5 nos Shallots chopped, kunjulli
- 2 nos Green chillies chopped
- 1/4 tsp Red chilly powder
- Turmeric powder A pinch
- Cumin seeds A pinch
- Mustard seeds A pinch
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- Urad dal A pinch, Uzhunnu parippu
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- Oil As reqd
- Salt As reqd
For preparing fenugreek with soya, heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
Add green chillies, shallots and chopped fenugreek leaves. Stir on low heat and add soya chunks. Mix well and cook covered.
Sprinkle red chilly powder, turmeric powder and required salt.
Remove from fire and add lemon juice.
Fenugreek with soya, a tasty and healthy side dish for steamed rice, is ready.
