Curd With Chana Bonda
Curd mixed with chana dal, rice flour, maida, other ingredients and fried as bondas

- 3 tbsp Curd
- 2 tbsp Rice flour
- 1 tbsp Chana dal soaked for 3 hours and ground
- 3 tbsp All purpose flour Maida
- Soda powder A small pinch
- 2 tbsp Onion chopped
- 1 no Green chilly chopped
- Turmeric A pinch
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 2 sprigs Coriander leaves
- 1 spring Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- Salt As reqd
- Oil For deep frying
For preparing curd with chana bonda, mix together curd, rice flour, maida and required salt. Add sufficient water and make a smooth batter.
Add the ground chana dal, soda powder, chopped onion, pepper powder, coriander leaves, green chilly, turmeric, cumin seeds, curry leaves and required salt. Mix well.
Heat oil in a hard bottomed pan and drop scoops of the prepared batter into it.
Deep fry the curd with chana bonda till golden brown in color.
Curd with chana bonda, a yummy favorite with kids as well as elders, is ready. Serve hot with onion chutney.
