Besan Burfi

Fried besan added to sugar syrup and mixed well to prepare besan burfi, kids favorite recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Gram flour/Besan Kadala mavu
  • 100 g Ghee
  • 150 g Sugar
  • Cardmom powdered
  • 1/4 litre Water
  • 1 tsp Pista
  • 1 tsp Almonds sliced

Instructions
 

  • For preparing besan burfi, melt ghee in a pan and fry besan flour until the besan starts changing color.
  • Add water to sugar and make a syrup by boiling for a few minutes.
  • Now add the sugar syrup & cardmom powder to the fried besan flour and mix well.
  • Take a greased flat tray and pour the mixture into it. Garnish with almonds and pista.
  • Allow it to cool completely.Then cut in different shapes according to your like.
  • Besan burfi is ready.
