For preparing baked mushroom/khombi chicken curry, mix together pepper, turmeric powder and required salt adding little water. Rub this paste over the chicken pieces and marinate for 15 minutes.
Fry the chicken pieces in hot oil till they are golden brown in color.
Transfer the fried chicken pieces into a baking tray. Fry onion in the remaining oil till it becomes transparent(You can add more oil if it is necessary).
Now add ginger-garlic paste and sautT for a minute on low flame. Add red chilly powder and garam masala.
Add all purpose flour and fry till light brown.
Stir in chicken broth and stir well for 2 minutes on low flame.
Now pour the prepared sauce over the fried chicken pieces and bake for 20 minutes at 160 degrees.
Take out the baking tray and add the mushrooms.
Bake again for 10 minutes till the chicken is done.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Baked mushroom/khombi chicken curry is ready. Serve hot with chappatti, rice etc.
