Squid/samundra phenee/Kanavai fry is prepared by cooking squid pieces with onion and then stir frying with green chillies, pepper, cumin powder and other ingredients

Instructions
Heat oil in a frying pan and saute sliced onions, ginger, green chillies and garlic till soft. Keep aside.
Stir in squid pieces with salt and pepper.cover the pan. Lower the heat and cook in low flame until squid pieces are almost done and water has evaporated(squid has lots of water in it so no need to add water while cooking).
In a bowl, mix all other ingredients with rice flour and add cooked squids.
In a pan, heat oil and deep fry the squids.
Squid/samundra phenee fry is ready. Serve hot with rice.
Note : Squid has a chance to splutter while frying, so take care while frying.
