Khamang cucumber/kakadi/vellarikkai salad is prepared by mixing chopped cucumber pieces with roasted peanut powder, lemon juice, sugar and other ingredients
For preparing khamang cucumber/kakadi/vellarikkai salad, first mix the chopped cucumber, roasted peanut powder, sugar and lemon juice. Mix well and keep aside.
Heat ghee in a pan and splutter cumin seeds.
Add green chillies and curry leaves. Fry in low heat for a few seconds.
Pour this tempering into the cucumber mixture when the cumin seeds become dark brown.
Add required salt just before serving. Garnish with coriander leaves.
