Microwave Suji-Semolina Halwa

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup Semolina Rava
  • 1 no Banana cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup Water
  • Saffron Few strands
  • 1 tsp Milk
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ½ tblsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Raisins
  • 2 tsp Cashews
  • 1no Cardamom crushed

Instructions
 

  • For preparing microwave sooji/semolina halwa, melt half of the ghee in a non stick pan and roast the raisins and cashew. Remove from the ghee and keep aside.
  • Fry the semolina in the same pan till light brown. Allow to cool.
  • Put a deep bottomed pan and add hot water, banana, roasted semolina sugar and cardamom. Mix well.
  • Soak saffron in milk for 10 minutes and add into the above mixture. Combine well.
  • Transfer the semolina mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Garnish with the roasted raisins and cashews.
  • Place it in a microwave and cook for 5 minutes in high mode.
  • Serve the sweet and tasty suji/semolina halwa when it cools.
