For preparing fish curry in coconut milk, heat oil in a pan and add ginger and garlic, green chilly and curry leaves. Add chopped onion and turmeric powder when the raw smell disappear.
Soak chilly powder and coriander powder in 1 tsp of water and add into the onion. Saute well.
Add + cup of water, salt and Malabar tamarind. Bring to boil.
Now add the fish cubes and 1/2 of the coconut milk. Cook in low flame till the gravy thickens .
Add the remaining coconut milk and mix carefully. Turn off the flame when milk is lightly boiled.
Garnish with chopped tomato and coriander leaves.
Fish curry in coconut milk is ready to serve with rice bread etc.
