Instructions
For preparing jeera chicken fry, first dry fry the cumin seeds and pepper corns in low heat. Powder them and mix with red chilly powder. Keep this aside.
Grind together ginger, garlic and green chillies to a smooth paste.
Mix together the ginger mixture, previously prepared cumin pepper mix and required salt.
Apply this paste on the chicken pieces and marinate for 45 minutes.
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and fry the onions until brown and crisp. Remove the onions from fire.
In the same oil, fry the marinated chicken pieces until golden brown and done. Drain off excess oil and let the chicken pieces remain in the kadai itself.
Stir in fried onions and add lime juice. Mix well with the fried chicken pieces.
Jeera chicken fry is ready. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
