Chicken pieces marinated in a mixture of cumin seeds, pepper, ginger, other ingredients and finally deep fried

- Chicken pieces(washed and drained, medium sized) - 1/2 kg
- Pepper(whole) - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 2 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Ginger(A small piece) -
- garlic - 7 cloves
- Green chillies - 3 nos
- Onion(finely sliced) - 2 nos
- Lime juice - 1 lemon
- Coriander leaves(chopped) -
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing jeera chicken fry, first dry fry the cumin seeds and pepper corns in low heat. Powder them and mix with red chilly powder. Keep this aside.
- Grind together ginger, garlic and green chillies to a smooth paste.
- Apply this paste on the chicken pieces and marinate for 45 minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and fry the onions until brown and crisp. Remove the onions from fire.
- Stir in fried onions and add lime juice. Mix well with the fried chicken pieces.
- Jeera chicken fry is ready. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
