Mutton Soup Kerala Style, Mutton bones cooked in an earthen pot with ample water and garnished in ghee.

Ingredients
  

  • 150 g Mutton bones chopped into pieces
  • Ginger chopped
  • Curry leaves Few
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp Shallots Kunjulli
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing traditional mutton soup, place the mutton bone pieces in an earthen pot and add 7 cups of water.
  • Boil and then lower the heat. Add ginger and curry leaves and simmer for 45 minutes. Remove the earthen pot from fire.
  • Strain the mutton soup and keep aside. Add required salt.
  • Take a pan and heat ghee. Splutter mustard seeds and fry shallots. Pour the fried shallots and ghee into the mutton soup.
  • Kerala mutton soup, an easy nutritious recipe, is ready.
