Oats Upma Easy

Oats cooked with rava and other ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Oats powdered
  • 1 cup Semolina roasted, Rawa
  • 1 cup Spinach finely chopped, Cheera
  • 1/2 cup Sprouted green gram Cherupayar
  • 1 cup Drumstick leaves Muringa ela
  • 2 nos Green chillies chopped
  • Ginger a small piece, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Split black gram Uzhunnu parippu
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 cups Water
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan and pour oil. Heat the oil and splutter mustard seeds and uzhunnu parippu.
  • Add chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, spinach and drumstick leaves. Saute for sometime.
  • Add 2 cups water and required salt. Leave it to boil.
  • When it starts boiling, add roasted rawa and powdered oats. Cook in low heat until water evaporates completely.
  • Sprinkle sprouted cherupayar on top.
  • Stir and make sure that no lumps are formed.
  • Oats upma, an ideal breakfast dish is ready. Serve hot.
